Zapare Technologies is seeking an accomplished Software Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, project governance, stakeholder management, and operational excellence to ensure on-time, within-budget, and high- quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Plan, initiate, and oversee large-scale software projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and organizational strategy.
Project Governance: Define project scope, objectives, success metrics, and delivery milestones in collaboration with executive management and key stakeholders.
Execution Excellence: Develop detailed project plans, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure seamless execution across all project phases.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate development teams to drive performance, accountability, and innovation.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, QA, product management, and vendor partners to achieve project outcomes.
Operational Oversight: Manage vendor relationships and DevOps support functions, ensuring adherence to performance and service benchmarks.
Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with security, quality, and governance standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Deliver timely and transparent project updates, progress reports, and executive summaries to leadership.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 8–12 years of progressive experience in software engineering and project management, with a proven record of delivering complex technology projects.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD frameworks.
Methodologies: Deep knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and hybrid project management methodologies.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Risk & Financial Management: Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and managing project risks.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the US Healthcare domain and familiarity with HIPAA compliancestandards.
Exposure to ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certified environments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices.
Experience managing projects across distributed or global teams.
